Introduction:
An Electromagnetic Lock( also called Magnetic Lock) has two parts, an aramature plate and the lock itself. A magnetic lock has a metal plate surrounded by a coil of wire that can be magnetized. The number of coils determines the holding force. When the power current passes through the coil, the metal plate is magnetized and then strongly attracts the armature, which locks the door.
